Burhan Alpargun is a dynamic and accomplished business leader, distinguished by a rare combination of expertise in economics, international relations, and finance. A successful alumnus of Boğaziçi University, graduating in Economics in 2005, Burhan went on to pursue a master’s degree in International Relations at Galatasaray University, where he cultivated a global perspective on economic diplomacy and financial governance. He further enriched his education in the United States at the Miami Ad School, gaining invaluable international exposure that broadened his vision and strategic approach to business and capital markets. He is presently advancing his leadership and management expertise at Harvard Business School.

Holding all Capital Market licenses, he began his professional journey in the financial sector as a Marketing Manager at Istanbul Portföy Yönetimi A.ş., where he quickly stood out for his strategic insight and leadership capabilities. His career accelerated with senior positions such as Department Head and Deputy General Manager at highly regarded institutions including Ünlü & Co, ICBC Turkey, and Tacirler Yatırım. He later took on the role of Managing Director at Econs Consultancy Turkey, advising leading corporations and investors on sophisticated financial strategies.

Beyond his executive roles, Burhan has consistently been recognized for his ability to bridge finance with international relations, offering a unique edge in navigating global capital markets. His leadership style combines analytical rigor with an entrepreneurial mindset, positioning him as both a visionary and a pragmatic strategist.

He is also the founder of Bosphorus Finance, a distinguished consultancy firm providing expertise in structured finance, capital markets advisory, and strategic investment solutions. Under his leadership, Bosphorus Finance has become a trusted partner for corporations, entrepreneurs, and family offices, offering tailor-made strategies in areas such as structured loans, portfolio optimisation, and capital raising. The firm is recognised for its ability to combine local insight with international standards, supporting clients in navigating complex financial environments while pursuing sustainable growth.

In his most recent endeavor, Burhan has transitioned his investment firm, Nordvest Capital, to Europe, marking a decisive step toward international expansion.
